Born with a profound love of music and a natural talent for learning pretty much any instrument he got his hands on, Jesse Daniel Edwards avidly studied guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, bass, drums, piano, harmonica, clarinet, saxophone, and the oboe growing up. From the ripe old age of ten he began composing his own original music with his six brothers and sisters- his first composition was an ode to his mother's mashed potatoes- arranging harmonies and recording his earliest efforts in his family’s coal cellar. As he grew in years and artistic maturity, he has continued to put forth his brand of honest and heartfelt compositions- and his rootsy style has persisted:
