California-based band Grex brings its unique brand of art rock to Portland. The band has been called “completely original” and “true genre warping music.” Grex’s fun, endlessly surprising sound draws from the psychedelic music of Jimi Hendrix, Pixies-esque alternative rock, and the the wild outer reaches of modern jazz. Grex will be joined by local psych/experimental powerhouses Alto (the band's album release) and saxophone maestro Noah Bernstein.
