Bay Area trio Grex brings its current blend of free jazz and art rock to Portland, touring in support of its new album "Monster Music." Grex (Karl Evangelista-guitar/vocals, Rei Scampavia- keys, vocals, Robert Lopez-drums) has been called “completely original” (Eugene Weekly), a "near- seamless blend of modern jazz, indie rock, and blues rock." For this special evening of music, Grex will be joined by Portland-based avant rock band U SCO, indie group Sarcastic Dharma Society, and thrash/hardcore ensemble Drunk Dads.
