The 2013 Rigsketball tournament finals will take place outside of Holocene on 10th Ave, with a huge FREE music fest to follow inside! Rigsketball is the Portland band basketball tournament, it's played on a regulation height hoop, which is bolted to the top of a guys' van. Each summer, Rigsketball curates this bracket style tournament between 32 local bands. The games take place in locations across the city. Rigsketball also puts on a show, (always free!) and of course, releases a compilation tape of the bands that participate in the tourney (this year's comp is curated by Tender Loving Empire, and the physical cassette tapes are produced by Citrus Tapes).
