The second annual Streetcar Mobile Musicfest is back and this time with 16 local bands, “Streetcar Specials” from participating local businesses, and a free after party at Union/Pine!
Welcoming the Portland streetcar to the Central Eastside, the Streetcar Mobile Music Fest will take place between the Rose Quarter/Leftbank stop and OMSI, with each band boarding at the Rose Quarter and performing for one complete eastside trip (60 minutes) with an OMSI layover performances by storyteller Rick Huddle, who will share spoken word about the history of the neighborhood. The festival is free with a streetcar ticket and coincides with the district’s First Friday Art Walk, making for an eventful evening both on and off the streetcar.
Following the event, the celebration will continue from 9pm-Midnight at a free, all-ages after party hosted by Union/Pine (525 SE Pine), featuring sets from Sun Angle and Dana Buoy to close out the night! More details on this year’s lineup, and the participating businesses to be rele
