This is a call to all those poets that have something to say! Portland is the body and the black cat is the heart. Bring the soul and let loose. All poems/short stories should be three minutes or less. Also please have your poems and short stories memorized. Bringing your book to the stage is ok although reading it word for word is not. Smart phones will not be welcome to the stage. All are welcome to this event, girls, boys, boys who dress like girls and the women that love them. FYI this is a bi/gay/straight friendly event. Bring an open mind, your speak easy attire, and some cash to throw at me. Tipping your bar tenders is not an option. Please be respectful to our condo friends upstairs by keeping the noise down outside while smoking. But most importantly have fun, stay single and make out with me. I've been told I am a good kisser and I don't just want to get in your panties/boxer briefs.
