SFU Presents the TINY FISTS TOUR: RADICAL QUEER PARENTS / MUSICIANS ON TOUR WITH THEIR BABIES! Join us for an afternoon of engaging workshops designed to hone our skills as organizers and build upon the important work of the Law & Disorder Conference, followed by a community get-together and concert from the artists of the Tiny Fists Tour, internationally touring activist songwriters Bonfire Madigan and Evan Greer traveling the West Coasts with their young children offering music and workshops to support movements for justice and liberation.5pm WORKSHOP: Queers Against Gentrification—What has the role of white and middle class LGBTQ people been in the process of gentrification? This workshop asks tough questions and explores the relationship between colonization, racism, gentrification, and the prison industrial complex. 6:15pm WORKSHOP: LGBTQ issues around environmental justice. 7:30pm CONCERT: (local acts TBA)
